Gustavo: It is everything as advertised and more. Brenda and Tom were so thoughtful and courteous. They were awesome hosts and as others have said…the breakfast is amazing!!! That alone was worth the cost. We hung out on the patio down by the water and we used their fire pit each night we were there. Bring wood and stuff for S’mores. The sunsets were beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

Harini: Brenda and Tom were excellent hosts, from their communication before we checked-in to our room to making our stay very comfortable. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy their hospitality for the two days we had planned (work + infant who just wanted to go home!!), but for the one day we were there, we felt well cared for. The views from this house are breathtaking. The photos really don’t do much justice. Every little detail is gorgeous. And Brenda made the most delicious breakfast (that I’m still dreaming of!). We would love to go back and spend some more time in this hidden gem of a place.

Terrie: Brenda and Tom run a delightful B and B on Camano Island. You immediately feel that they are welcoming you home with treats and a personal note in your bedroom. Brenda’s breakfasts and baked goods are sublime, the views from their home are tranquil day and night, there is beach access, the state parks are nearby, they clearly love where they live and you will too. We had such a lovely stay with them which was very much appreciated.

Jason: Beautiful view and breakfast was delicious. Brenda and her husband were very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommended.

Marilyn: I almost want to keep how great a place this is to myself so I can easily go back. Remarkable hosts, stunning property, 5-star breakfast. What great people.

Brandy: Brenda and Tom were the best hosts ever! The home was exactly as described and beyond beautiful. We had a glorious master suite with a private balcony that overlooked the bay and left the door open all night to the sound of the fountain running below. The master bath sported a huge double walk-in shower and a jacuzzi tub that was phenomenal. The bed was soft and fluffy and the sheets were not scratchy. We arrived to gorgeous flowers and chocolates and a little personal note. There was a tea cart in the room and sparkling cider available. We had full access to the beach which had a private deck with a fire pit, where we lit a fire and watched the sunset with wine on our second night. Brenda is a superb cook! The breakfasts were outstanding!! Better than any restaurant I’ve ever been to! They both were available to chat whenever we were milling about and had so many interesting stories to tell of their very exciting lives. It wasn’t like going away to a strange place- it was like visiting friends, which is saying a lot from this self- proclaimed introvert! We live close and will definitely return the next time we need a weekend away. Thank you sooooo much Brenda and Tom, for the relaxation, fun, food and conversation!! We will be back!

Adrien: Brenda and Tom have turned their home into the perfect bed and breakfast, and more: spacious and stylish bedroom, comfortable bed and pillows, luxurious bathroom, quiet location, amazing Puget Sound view, either through the huge windows or from the Adirondack chairs on the balcony, good coffee, delicious, no, DELICIOUS! breakfast, nice conversations with Brenda and Tom (and not just small talk), beach access to get that deep breath of fresh air to kickstart your day on beautiful Camano Island. For a nice walk, I recommend the Iverson Spit on the other side of the island. Bring your binoculars and listen to the beautiful birds around you. On Maple Grove beach, we also got lucky to see bald eagles up close as they dove into the water to catch fish maybe 20ft away from us. My wife and I loved the Camano Island Inn restaurant for our anniversary dinner. And it was nice to be able to just walk to it. There are great casual options in the area too: the Rockaway in the north of the island, and the Farmers Cafe in Stanwood.

Elissa: Wow! I mean, the view alone could keep me happy for days…but everything else was fantastic as well. The comfy bed, quiet location, delicious homemade breakfasts, and kind, down-to-earth hosts made this a truly relaxing getaway. We’ll be back!

Courtney: Such an amazing place! The house is gorgeous yet homey and Brenda and Tom are spectacular hosts, making sure everything is just right. Go spend a night or a week with them!

Sean: Amazing couple, beautiful view and terrific breakfast!

Neil: Brenda and Tom were wonderful hosts and the location and environment was beautiful! We’re definitely looking forward to coming here again!

Becca: Wow. What an amazing place and nice hosts! The view when waking up from the comfy bed…ahhh! Breakfast was rich and filling. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Tom and Brenda for sharing your beautiful home.

Tina: Beautiful view, and accommodations Brenda and Tom are wonderful hosts. Very close to hiking and parks. Bed was amazingly comfy. Breakfast was fabulous! Can’t wait to visit again!

Katy: Brenda & Tom are amazing! They are wonderful hosts! They place was EXACTLY how the pictures looked it was breathtakingly beautiful! We truly enjoyed our stay, it was better than a 5-star resort! And the breakfast was amazing! Brenda & Tom go out of their way to make sure that you enjoy your stay! We loved it and will be back! 🙂

Howard: What dear hosts Tom and Brenda are! We felt like we were coming home to family from the first moment we met them. They were very flexible in accommodating our late arrival. Their home is beautiful, with a spectacular setting on the water and easy beach access. Our bedroom and private bath were absolutely luxurious; as nice as any 5-star hotel we’ve stayed in. Waking up to a gorgeous view with French doors opening to a private balcony was a special treat. Despite our last minute reservation just two days before Thanksgiving when twelve family members would be arriving, Tom and Brenda made us feel like VIP guests. Although we were visiting nearby family and didn’t take time to enjoy it, Brenda offered to cook breakfast for us too. We’ll definitely come back!!

Kris: Brenda’s place is the Ritz Carlton of the Puget Sound! I’d give her 6 stars if I could. Her home is just as beautiful, clean and peaceful as the pictures show. We were there on a bit of an anniversary, and Brenda and Thom were wonderfully gracious hosts who took great care to ensure our stay was pleasant. We collected shells along the beach. We visited with Thom and Brenda. We thoroughly enjoyed simply spending time in our room with a beautiful view of the water. The breakfast was luxurious, and the ambiance was delightful. There were even more great amenities that we didn’t have the time to use like the hot tub, firepit, and homemade treats. Aside from the niceties of the place, the location fit our needs as well. We toured the San Juan Islands a bit, and we spent some time in Downtown Seattle. Camano Island provided a lovely central location to return to.

Jon: Brenda is a friendly and gracious host and her home is beautiful and immaculately kept. From the moment we arrived we felt like a part of the family. The view from our room was breathtaking and the bed was clean and comfortable. The truffles and handwritten note we found in the room really made us feel welcome. Brenda made us a delicious and hearty breakfast each morning, highlighted by fresh, local ingredients. We appreciated sharing leisurely conversations over coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on Camano island and are already looking forward to our next visit. Thanks again for your warm hospitality!

Michael: I gave Brenda and Tom top ratings across the board because I had such a good experience staying with them for 5 nights. They are incredibly nice people, and seem to know just when to engage in conversation and when to respect privacy. Their house is beautiful, with great views, and kept immaculately clean. Brenda made great breakfasts and they both were eager to please. I would very much enjoy staying there again and I have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending couples or singles stay there.

Laura: We had a great time spending time in Tom and Brenda’s home. It was exactly what we needed in terms of a relaxing vacation and retreat away from the city. The view what amazing and the room had all and more than one could ask for. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely book again. Thank you to everyone who was so kind to us and made our stay so relaxing. Also, breakfast was TO DIE FOR. Sooo tasty! 🙂

Bernadette: Tom and Brenda met us at the door as we arrived. They were very friendly and took us to our room where we would be staying and we discussed the house rules. They told us that we could use the hot tub if we wanted and set up chairs on the deck by the water for us to watch the sunset each night. They gave us a tour of the house and asked when we wanted breakfast in the morning. The room was fantastic with attention to detail for all of our needs plus more. We were extremely satisfied with our experience at their home. It was like a mini resort. The room was clean and so comfortable it was hard to leave to go home.

Mia: Brenda and Tom’s home is a complete gem- so rare, alluring, mellow, and gorgeous. There is not enough room to write all of the positives about our peaceful stay at Brenda and Tom’s home on Camano Island. First of all, the view is supremely breathtaking. With access to the private beach, chocolates by the bath when we arrived, delicious breakfast prepared by Brenda and Tom (2 words: apple waffles! 2 more words: SO GOOD!), and just genuine insightful conversation with Brenda and Tom- all of this made for such an ideal relaxing getaway. If you are looking for a serene place with super thoughtful hosts- this is the place to be! My mom really enjoyed just reading on the balcony while enjoying the view. I had a great time exploring the private beach and taking photos of the sunset and wildlife. The majestic and quiet setting is ideal for relaxing, writing, reading, enjoying the unbelievable view, exploring the wildlife on the beach or just watching the sunrise/sunset. We even did a little apple picking across the street! Their home is also just walking distance from the Restaurant at Camano Inn- a farm to table restaurant we definitely recommend while in town. You can’t get any better than all of this! We cannot thank Brenda and Tom enough and we do indeed plan on coming back!

Janet: Brenda and Tom were excellent hosts – warm, friendly, and welcoming. Brenda took great care in preparing our breakfast meals and we were treated to homemade scones, crepes, and fresh fruit. It made a wonderful start to our day. And I haven’t mentioned the views! My husband and I stayed in the Master Suite and it was as beautiful as pictured. Our room had a view of Whidbey Island across the Saratoga Passage, which provided lovely sunrise/sunset scenes. The sailboats travelling through the passage added to the ambiance. We rate this as our best bnb experience. We’ll plan to recommend Brenda and Tom to both family and friends.

Paula: My 17 year old daughter and I stayed with Brenda, Tom, and their dog Darby, in their wonderful oceanfront B&B. This was a truly memorable experience for us. The house is immaculate and the hosts were welcoming and put us at ease immediately. The bed was extremely comfortable which, when you are away from home, is a godsend. My daughter even commented that she felt as though we were staying with family! It doesn’t get better than that. We will definitely be planning a return stay with Brenda and Tom!!!
